Well I did it again.
I went out with C and had more than my allowed amount of alcohol.
Not a good idea at all because I also missed a doctors appointment.
I’ve got back problems and I was supposed to go for a checkup, he probably would have ordered me a new brace if I had been bothered to turn up.
Instead I sat in the pub and filled my legs up with John Smiths smooth bitter.
I had fully intended to leave after C left but the alcohol in my system said different.
But wait theres more….. I also managed to get attacked.
I was sitting with Iain and one of his friends and everything was fine. Until I got ready to have a fag.
It was really cold yesterday so I had on my West Ham United (Best football/soccer team in the world!), Hat and Scarf set.
Whether Iains friend did not like this team I do not know because the next thing I knew was he had punched me under the ribs.
I instinctively punched him back and it must of hurt because he grabbed my scarf (that was around my neck), swung me around so that I fell over and started to kick me in the side.
I of course kicked back as hard as I could.
Thankfully two men jumped to my aid and a woman managed to get me off of the floor and as far away from my attacker as possible.
He was asked to leave and the police were called.
I gave a statement to the police and so did my two knights in shining armour but I won’t be pressing charges.
I then was convinced to drink a shot of whisky to calm my nerves (I never touch top shelf) which promptly went straight to my head, as did the next shot.
After a few more drinks (none of which I really needed) I managed to stagger home along icy pathways (god knows how I didn’t fall over), and fall into my bed.
So all in all, its just another typical day here at Flame Ranch.
Except I have to make another doctors appointment for next week and my ribs are kinda aching where he kicked or punched me.

So how bad are the injuries today? I guess you know how very lucky you are that it wasn’t worse than it was. Also lucky for having terrific friends around to help you out in a real time of need.I’m very glad that you weren’t hurt worse and that you did indeed make it home safe and sound.But to say that you need to utilize some self-control would be stating the obvious, so I’ll only add that you can’t expect anyone else to take control of you or your life in a positive way if you can’t or won’t first do it for yourself.That’s not a criticism at all, cause I have my own issues with self-control; though they are different from yours now, well, they weren’t always. So believe me, I do understand how difficult it is. But it’s the very first step in regaining control over your life and your destiny, and I KNOW you have just enough bratty stubbornness to do it!I really am just an email away… anytime! Have a good long soak in a Radox type bath oil to help bring the bruises out, Arnica will also help.But as Tiggs said, self control and self respect.Be sure to make that doctors’ appointment.

Both times I had to be pulled off the coward by several people. The guys who helped by stopping him did the right thing, but since you aren’t pressing charges, the slime who hit you walks away with nothing more than getting booted from a pub. What he needed was to end up in an emergency room and waking up today in agony.Sometimes violence can be a good thing, as spankos know well, and this is one of those times. He deserved a serious ass kicking just for hitting a woman, but it goes way beyond that. That scumbag could have hurt you badly or even killed you.Instead of waking up today in jail or a hospital room, he wakes with no more than a hangover and with absolutely no reason to control himself the next time he gets the urge to hurt you or some other unsuspecting woman.I’m not saying you should have pressed charges. I would have been thrilled if you had, but I know there are a lot of other things to consider with such a major decision and choosing to press charges can sometimes be a bad decision.What I am saying, though, is that somebody should have kicked the shit out of that loser. Can’t be many deaf guys with recently deceased mothers in your town? c) Being bereaved gives you the right to be upset. It does not give you the right to go around punching women. Ive got to go to the cop shop tommrow anyway, so I will find out if I can press charges. I’m just not sure that I want to.It was really scary Mum, and now that the alcohol has left my system, i’m in quite a bit of pain. I don’t even know how to press charges.
Jay, sweetie… I agree in concept with all of Daisy’s feelings, but it IS your decision and you need to do what is best for you. You can’t and won’t control this bastard even by pressing charges. Ultimately that control must lie within him.But YOU need to take care of you right now. Have you rescheduled your appointment with the doc yet? If so, how soon can you get it? And you really need those ribs x-rayed cause you might have broken something, especially considering how little padding you have.Please go to the doc, sweetie! I know you don’t want to worry the folks, but they will have a lot more to worry about if you don’t get it all checked out!Just a thought, too… go to the police station and just tell them what happened and let them walk you through the process, if they think that is what you should do. Oh, honey, I wish I could be with you. Listen, its easy to press charges, you just have to tell the police you want him charged.Thats if that IS what you want. I hope so. But, goodness, you haven’t been to the hospital? You HAVE to get checked out, baby; and, as it was an attack, the medical records should be kept…they will want photographic evidence of any injuries, bruises etc; you should do this, just so you have the OPTION of taking things further. It doesn’t mean you have to.Please, please, go to the doc, as an emergency, (tell them you were beaten up, they won’t refuse you an appointment) even if you won’t go to hospital; but, as Tiggs said, you need to be checked over.
